About the Book

Fiction. This is not a detective novel. This is just a humoristic view of the world and some odd ideas. Ideas like this: There is more to people than just the mind, the heart, the legs, hands and feet. The body is only part of what makes us who we are. Granted, it is a very important part, it is a protective layer harbouring something much more powerful and ancient. Some people call this entity the Soul, the Spirit, Aura, the Atman, Ego and many other names. Every culture has their own name for it, but names don't matter, that's why I call it the "Osminog", octopus in Russian. This is an ancient concept and one that keeps coming up in everything, the soul has long been felt and studied. For many years, there were people who dedicated their lives to understanding how to extract the energy of the soul. This search began before written history and will probably be never understood fully. The big bang, however it happened, released energy, a lot of energy. This energy allowed for the creation of worlds and in turn creatures. Everything that lives in the known universe must contain carbon and something that I call "the waves". This energy is not well studied, because for now it is incomprehensible to most people. These waves are strands of energy, ever moving through the universe, some call it karma, or even will power. if observed they look like luminescent spaghettis. This energy never collides with itself unless forced to. When it does collide, something miraculous happens: Life. When life is created in womb of a human, animal or an egg of a bird or reptile the waves start to gravitate towards the unborn embryo packing themselves together to create a form of an egg. The egg, made of the waves, if observed, is completely smooth and shines brilliantly. Just when the newborn is ready to come out, the strands separate from the surface of the egg, giving it a sort of hairy exterior, golden luminous hair like... tiny sunrays. The shiny strands around its egg are short and wave quickly as if looking for something to grab on to, at first. These sunrays then start to interact with the rays of other people around as well as the ones floating in space and they start to grow.As the child grows, the interaction with other living creatures and the world allows for his egg of waves to develop. With time, the strands become rarer and longer, exposing the shell slightly. Why I call this the "Osminog" is because this shell with the waves extruding outward looks very much like an octopus head and tentacles. The child unwittingly uses these tentacles to interact with other things, creating what we call social skills, the subconscious and intuition. A regular person uses these tentacles on a very basic level, very rarely using then to their full potential. As for the shell, we use it as a powerhouse of knowledge. It is what makes us unique individuals. All of the logical and rational and cognitive is stored in the brain as we know, but true understanding and feeling is stored in this Osminog.Crazy right. Basically the whole book is like this
