A bike ride to work turns deadly. Hundreds of rounds are fired by the attackers.
Alex is taken down by the gunfire but hides behind the back wheel well of an old souped-up car.
A lull in the barrage of gunfire allows her to stand and take four shots.
She fires four shots that kill the shooter and the driver of a bright blue pickup truck.
In the follow up to the shooting, Matt, the EMT leader and Alex's suitor, realizes that he may have witnessed the master mind of the shooting watching from the corner just a block away.
Alex has no clue why she has been singled out. She focuses on going to a barbeque at her work partner's home. Her newly assigned bodyguard and Matt are in the car with her when once again shooters riddle the car with gunfire. She kills both of her new assailants but the master mind once again escapes.
Alex's parents extent an invitation to go out on Lake Michigan to go fishing. They invite everyone that Alex decides should come. Alex invites everyone at the barbeque.
The fishing trip seems to be a great hit when suddenly the yacht takes on machine gunfire.
Alex warns everyone to take cover and makes sure the kids are all safe. She returns the gunfire and wounds the attacker and partially disables the speed boat that he is in.
The shooter escapes but he is now on the run and Alex is on the hunt. Her hunting takes her back to a small town in Mississippi. It seemed to be a replay of a previous case when she captured and later killed the person that had attacked her.
This time she has the support of the local sheriff, and she has, the help of Johnnie her online internet search genius that gives her, the visual footage of the compound where her quarry is likely hiding.
She is attacked on her recognizant of the compound and battles her way in where she indeed finds her attacker who this time does not survive the confrontation. There is only one survivor.
Read Racist to learn who survives.
