After years of reading self-help books, Constantine Mitropoulos noticed that most writers rely on quotations from other people to communicate important messages in a powerful and effective way.
As he thought more about the nature and use of quotations, he realized that many statements from great thinkers and writers including William Shakespeare, Sigmund Freud, Albert Einstein, and the authors of the Bible are still subject to interpretation. Mitropoulos wondered how famous quotations might be used differently if the authors had included their own thinking behind the statements.
Never one to let a good idea simply float away, Mitropoulos created Quotations, a collection of powerful statements, sayings, and musings-along with the thinking behind them.
Intended to expose the hidden deeper meaning in each quotation, this book encourages readers to go beyond the surface to ultimately find what lies beneath the intelligent and purposeful arrangement of carefully selected words.
About the Author: Born on August 15, 1964, Constantine Mitropoulos was raised in Sydney, Australia, and educated at St Marys Cathedral by its resident brothers who taught him the value of honour, trust, respect, and discipline.
Mitropoulos was destined for great things, overcoming severe stuttering as a teen and cheating death from a life threatening disease of the brain, he approached life with an insatiable desire and hunger to be the best he could be. Responsible for pioneering CD-ROM and touch screen technology in the banking industry in 1987, he went into business for himself at age twenty-four, manufacturing the first CD-ROM to contain the entirety of Australia's yellow and white pages, and hence revolutionising marketing forever.
Passionate about life and filled with a burning desire to change the world, Mitropoulos knew his purpose in life is to lead and inspire others the world over. His quest began with Tiabob, his first book, and now continues with Quotations.
