About the Author: Nordrene Henry-Johnson and Tyler Johnson are a mother-son team who worked together to create Quiz Kidz Thumbs Down Bullying to help children better understand the bullying epidemic that plagues schools, playgrounds, and other environments where kids should feel safe. Both mother and son were victims of childhood bullying, and both are dedicated to helping children cope with this sensitive issue.
Nordrene's innate love for children inspired her to begin writing children's storybooks after resigning from a successful twenty-five-year career in the healthcare management industry, where she learned a great deal about compassion, goal setting, organization, and interpersonal skills. Nordrene also volunteers for a nonprofit organization that assists children in need all over the world. She is happily married and proud mother to four sons, each of whom are unique in very special ways.
Nordrene's third son, Tyler, is a talented, vocal young man who survived bullying for many years. At just seventeen, he became a published author, and his courage, strength, and confidence offer hope to those who share his former plight.
