Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Institut für Erziehungswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Hermann Hesse "Das Glasperlenspiel" - Eine pädagogische Analyse, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Hermann Hesse lässt in seinem Roman Das Glasperlenspiel einen anonymen Erzähler die Lebensgeschichte des Josef Knecht erzählen. Die Geschichte spielt dabei vorwiegend in der Provinz Kastalien und wird oftmals als pädagogischer Roman interpretiert. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werde auch ich mich mit dem pädagogischen Gehalt des Werkes auseinandersetzen. Mein Schwerpunkt liegt hierbei auf dem Begriff der Identität. Identität ist für jeden Menschen und jede Gesellschaft von Bedeutung. Sie stellt kein statisches Gebilde dar, sondern befindet sich in ständigem Wandel. Identität muss also als Prozess begriffen werden. Dieser Prozess ist besonders im Kontext der Pädagogik interessant. Es stellt sich die Frage, inwieweit Erziehung und Bildung die Entwicklung von Identität beeinflussen und fördern können. Hierzu werde ich speziell die Rolle der Lebensläufe beleuchten, die sich in der zweiten Hälfte des Buches finden. Josef Knecht soll sie angeblich selbst im Rahmen seiner schulischen Ausbildung verfasst haben. Ich werde mich mit der Frage beschäftigen, ob das Schreiben solch fiktiver Lebensläufe Einfluss auf die Identitätsbildung bzw. -konstruktion des Schülers hat und inwieweit es folglich als pädagogische Methode geeignet scheint. Einleitend werde ich zunächst den Inhalt des Romans sowie der Lebensläufe skizzieren. Neben den drei biographischen Aufsätzen, die im Buch enthalten sind, existieren noch weitere, die später separat veröffentlicht wurden. Ich werde mich in meinen Betrachtungen allerdings auf die drei im Buch enthaltenen Biographien beschränken. Anschließend werde ich mich mit dem Identitäts-Begriff auseinandersetzen.
