Puwaii is the name of the very fashionable, very colorful creations of Jolieathe worlds youngest fashion designer tm. Joliea and her friends and family travel the globe, via a magical submarine name PuOie tm, in search of inspiration for her Puwaii fashions. Our heroine created her highly original fashions several years ago when she smooshed together her love for brightly colored designs inspired by the fashion designer, Mr. Puchini, with the tropical feel of Hawaii. Thus the idea of Puwaii was born. Once again, Joliea invites her best friend Sarah, and her big brother, Jared to share her adventures. Creatures from the first book, including Starlette, the most talented little starfish in Hollyfish, and Hunt a flamboyant, Spanish speaking weather-bird, join the happy crew. In this adventure, the fearless young travelers journey to Greece, Egypt, Monaco, and Ireland. And of course, Paris, one of the worlds fashion capitals! They meet some exciting new characters, such as Goddess Babarina of Egypt and Lady Allison of Ireland. A swift and memorable visit to the Greek Island of Mykonos finds the travelers spending the night at the Greek Goddess Tamarinas charming old windmill. Like any adventure, this book has a villain! The dreadful, frustrated fashion designer, Jack Le Rat, tries to make trouble along the way. However, he is thwarted when the travelers leave Athens by way of a hot-air balloon flying over the Acropolis on the way to the tiny Principality of Monaco. They start the evening at the glamorous , Café de Paris, followed by a spectacular evening cruise in Monacos Bay watching Monacos International Fireworks Festival from Starlettes recently arrived, StarYacht. Jack Le Rat catches up with the group once again and PuOie has to transform herself into a railroad car attached to a train bound for Paris. In Paris, Joliea and friends take in sights like the Eiffel Tower while Hunt meets the love of his life. Rammy, Tamarinas silly pet ram known for her feisty attitude sips strawberry milkshakes at McDoggies, where the fashionable Parisians bring their dogs to dine. These happy times are interrupted when Jared finds Rammy talking to The Flash who informs her that Jack Le Rat knows where they are! The group is magically transported by PuOie to Ireland and they arrive floating on the River Liffey. Ireland, is the home of Lady Allison, a famous fashion designer known for her remarkable capes made from 24-carat gold thread. Her tiny friends, an army of leprechauns, work together with the group to save Princess Issa who has been kidnapped by Jack! He threatens to throw the princess from the castle window in hopes of securing Daniel and his magical pendant. However, Jacks attempts at world fashion domination are foiled as the leprechauns and the adventurers turn the evil one over to Interpol. With the adventure a success, the young travelers return to Malibu in PuOie by way of a rainbow. An enclosed CD read along as well as a DVD read along, complete with delightful sound effects, add the enjoyment of the book. The latter also includes art lessons with Jolie and advice encouraging young readers to create their own book.
