Un escritor fracasado compró una casa, la llaman el castillo, en realidad es una antigua rectoría. Durante la Revolución Francesa de 1789, los habitantes presa de un frenesí satánico la destruyeron. El presbiterio se convirtió así en la casa más grande del pueblo. Los lugareños lo llamaron castillo.

Va todas las mañanas a comprar una baguette a una panadería donde sirve Ludivine, tan guapa con su blusa rosa de corte años cincuenta. Está el joven panadero al que le gustaría divertirse con las nalgas de Ludivine. Hay que admitir que su linda gatita seduce a todos, a todos les gustaría contarle un chiste en el campo. A menudo camina por un camino que lleva a Compostela.

Es hija de la adivina, también lanza hechizos y protege del mal de ojo a quienes desean pagarle. Todo tiene un precio hoy. En el pueblo, todos reconocen que ella es un poco bruja. ¿Quién lanzó esta maldición? ¿Qué quieren? Sólo puede ser una maldición, el hombre honesto come guisantes sin ver a una mujer erguida como diosa del amor gay.
