Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Der Lehrer / Pädagoge, Note: 1,5, Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten, Veranstaltung: Qualitative Forschung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Musik hängt sehr eng mit Kultur zusammen. Das wird bereits dadurch sichtbar, dass der Begriff "Kultur" bzw. "kulturell" im Bildungsplan Realschule 2004 im Fach Musik neun Mal erscheint. Die Entwicklung eines Kulturbegriffs mit genauer Begriffsexplikation aus den zahlreich verwendeten, sich z. T. widersprechenden, Definitionen soll jedoch nicht im Zentrum dieser Arbeit stehen. Vielmehr interessiert die Frage, wie der jeweilige Kulturbegriff von den Musiklehrkräften durch ihre Biografie geprägt wird. Aus diesem Grund werden durch die Forscherin biografische Stationen im Leben von (angehenden) MusiklehrerInnen genauer betrachtet und in Bezug auf ihren Kulturbegriff rekonstruiert. Innerhalb dieser qualitativen Forschung, in der die individuellen Biografien einzelner Untersuchungspersonen im Zentrum stehen, ergibt sich die Forschungsfrage, inwiefern die biografischen Erfahrungen von (angehenden) Musiklehrkräften ihre Vorstellungen von Kultur prägen. Dabei sollen sowohl "die eigene" als auch genannte Bezüge zu anderen Kulturen in den Blick genommen werden. Aufgrund des festgelegten äußeren Rahmens mit Schwerpunkt auf der Forschungsmethodik erfolgt nur eine knappe Einführung in die Verwendung "des Kulturbegriffs" im Musikunterricht. Der für ein transparentes Vorgehen wichtige Methodik gliedert sich aufgrund der Relevanz für die Forschungsmethodik dieser Arbeit in einen kurzen Abriss über die Biografieforschung sowie die Erhebung durch narrative Interviews und Auswertung der Daten mittels der formalen Strukturierung sowie deren Ausgang, der qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring.
