About the Author: Dan Mac is a wilderness guide, an inspired and learned proponent of Natural Education, a tracker, designer/builder/woodworker, teacher, poet, historian, piper, a brewer of magical meads, and a purveyor of Awen. His wife says he is a Renaissance man of the twenty-first century. He claims only to be the discoverer of the Basic Formula of the Universe--and a very fast runner.
