The mysterious biker world is a sub-culture outsiders see but know very little about. The chemistry between Dakota Durand and Shane Hill was undeniable. In the biker world those "perks" are sexy women called P.O.'s (Property of the MC). These women will do anything to please Capital, something that Dakota finds hard to grasp.
Blinded by the possibilities of her and Capital's love, Dakota has a tough decision to make. Should she give up on the man she never stopped loving and his dangerous new lifestyle or will she get drawn in to the bike culture and stake her claim as Capital's main Property?

Dionne Smith Miller's romantic urban fiction novel, Property Of: Sons of Slaves MC, is a gritty and compelling tale about a professional woman's introduction to the outlaw motorcycle club sub-culture where women are called P.O.s, short for Property Of. It's a harsh and forbidding world for a woman who'd been raised to believe she was worthy of respect and, as a professional at the top of her field, submissively cleaning the clubhouse and preparing the food for the members of the club with the other P.O.s seemed absurdly primitive somehow. It was a world where Shane was no longer hers but was Capital, dispenser of discipline and the Boss. Even she would only be calling him boss or master in her role as a supporter of the Sons and as his personal property. Could her love survive these challenges to her very identity?
I marveled at Miller's vividly portrayed look at the outlaw club sub-culture and wondered just how both the male members and female supporters could actually submit to the harsh and authoritarian culture. Miller gets the reader totally involved in Dakota's dilemma in this well-written and provocative urban story. Property Of is a novel for adult readers, which has some explicit sexual content and a few violent scenes which some may find upsetting. That said, it's hard not to get concerned about Dakota and the choices she has to make.
Property Of: Sons of Slaves MC is highly recommended.
