Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Geschichte Deutschlands - Nationalsozialismus, Zweiter Weltkrieg, Note: 1,0, Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (Zeitgeschichte), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit der medialen Vermittlung der Themen Arbeitslosigkeit und Vollbeschäftigung, die in den Jahren 1938 und 1939 in der Ostmark zu propagandistisch vom NS-Regime betrieben wurde. Propaganda spielte in vielen Bereichen der nationalsozialistischen Politik eine tragende Rolle. In den ersten beiden Jahren nach dem Anschluss Österreichs ans Deutsche Reich wurde in der - seit dem Anschluss sogenannten - Ostmark versucht, unter anderem die Wirtschaftspolitik als wirksames Propagandawerkzeug zu nutzen. Mit Hilfe von ausgewählter Fachliteratur und Quellen aus der zu behandelnden Zeit soll diese Arbeit darstellen, inwieweit es Diskrepanzen zwischen den medial propagierten Inhalten und den praktischen Umsetzungen und somit dem Alltag der Menschen gab. Der gewählte Zeitraum und die geographische Eingrenzung der Forschungsfrage dienen hierbei nicht nur einer im Rahmen dieser Arbeit nötigen Beschränkung des Umfangs, denn in diesen nur knapp zwei Jahren wurde in der Ostmark die Vollbeschäftigung erreicht und so sind die politischen Eingriffe in den Arbeitsmarkt in dieser Zeitspanne besonders geeignet, um sie näher zu untersuchen. Nach einer Beschreibung des Zustand des Zustand des Arbeitsmarktes und der Wirtschaftslage zum Zeitpunkt des Anschlusses im März 1938 liegt der Fokus in den folgenden Kapiteln auf der propagandistischen Darstellung der Wirtschaftspolitik der Nationalsozialisten in der Ostmark. Hierzu werden authentische Quellen in Form von Nachrichtenzeitungen herangezogen, um einen Überblick zum öffentlichen Diskurs zur Thematik schaffen zu können. Nachdem dieser Teil der Arbeit sich mit der Propaganda beschäftigt, steht der darauf folgende Abschnitt im Zeichen des tatsächlichen Alltags der Menschen, beziehungsweise wie sich die wirts
