Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Geschichte Europas - Neueste Geschichte, Europäische Einigung, Note: 1,5, Universität Konstanz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit wird gezeigt, dass sich der Sozialistische Deutsche Studentenbund, nach dem Unvereinbarkeitsbeschluss der SPD und im Laufe der 60'er Jahre zunehmend radikalisierte. Ferner wird dargestellt, wie sich, mit dem Beitritt Rudi Dutschkes, der antiautoritäre Flügel des Verbandes entwickelte und von ihm ein maßgeblicher Teil des Radikalisierungsprozesses innerhalb des SDS ausging. Zwar war Rudi Dutschke innerhalb des Verbandes stark umstritten, schaffte es aber durch die aufständischen Entwicklungen in der BRD, Studenten für den Verband zu mobilisieren und mit ihrer Unterstützung enormen Einfluss innerhalb des Verbandes und auf die Studentenbewegung auszuüben. Die Notwendigkeit von Gegengwalt verklausulierte Dutschke bis zum Organisationsreferat 1967 stets unter der Notwendigkeit von Aufklärung, welche zu einem revolutionären Umsturz führen sollte. Im Organisationsreferat und auf der Vietnamkonferenz verwendete er allerdings Begriffe, die auf die Forderung nach einem Partisanenkampf schließen ließen. Es ist auch nicht zu leugnen, dass der Begriff Stadtguerilla durch Rudi Dutschke erstmals in der BRD verwendet wurde und er ihn nachhaltig konzipiert hat. Diese Vorstellungen und Forderungen wurden allerdings nie konkretisiert. So wird nicht deutlich, ob er eine Mentalitätsveränderung (Guerillamentalität) der Studenten forderte oder aber einen tatsächlichen Guerillakrieg in den Metropolen anstrebte, was zu folgeschweren Missinterpretationen führte. Dutschke war kein Pazifist und sah sich selbst als Revolutionär. Ein Revolutionär kann in Dutschkes Augen kein Pazifist sein, da er der Gewalt des repressiven Herrschaftssystems mit Gegengewalt begegnen muss.
