Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich BWL - Informationswissenschaften, Informationsmanagement, Stiftung Wirtschaftsinformatikschule Schweiz WISS, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Matrix-Projektorganisation ist die wohl am weitesten verbreitete Organisationsform innerhalb welcher Projekte abgewickelt werden. Diese Organisationsform hat sehr viele Vorteile, birgt aber auch einige Nachteile. Der grösste Nachteil scheint die "Doppelführung" der Mitarbeitenden zu sein. Einerseits ist er in seiner Organisationseinheit dem Linienvorgesetzten unterstellt, andererseits ist er in der Projektorganisation dem Projektleiter unterstellt. Diese Konstellation führt in vielen Fällen zu Konflikten, welche zur Unzufriedenheit aller Beteiligten führt. Um solchen Konflikten vorzubeugen, müssen gewisse Massnahmen ergriffen werden. Der wichtigste Aspekt sind verbindliche schriftliche Abmachungen zwischen den beteiligten Stellen. Zu Beginn des Projektes müssen zwischen dem Projektleiter, dem Linienvorgesetzten und dem Mitarbeiter schriftliche Vereinbarungen zur Projektarbeit erstellt werden. Diese Vereinbarungen müssen von allen Beteiligten verstanden und bestätigt werden. Wichtig ist auch, dass diese Vereinbarungen im Laufe des Projektes "leben". Änderungen im Projekt, seien das Aufwand oder Termine, müssen in diese Vereinbarungen einfliessen. Dabei reicht es nicht, dass die Vereinbarungen angepasst werden, sondern es ist auch notwendig, diese Anpassungen zu kommunizieren und bestätigen. Ein anderer wichtiger Aspekt ist die Teambildung im Projekt. Da die Projektteams in Matrixorganisationen jeweils nur auf Zeit bestehen, ist die Teambildung von hoher Wichtigkeit. Ein weiterer Aspekt ist die gegenseitige Respektierung. Die Linie soll das Projekt und das Projekt die Linie respektieren und unterstützen. Wenn ein gemeinsamer Weg gesucht wird, lösen sich viele Konflikte von selbst. Die Matrix-Projektorganisation ist eine geeignete Organisationsform um Projekte zum Erfolg zu bring
