"Immer häufiger ist von körperlichen und psychischen Belästigungen und Übergriffen in der Schule die Rede. Viele Lehrerinnen und Lehrer berichten, die Kinder seien heute schon in der Grundschule... nicht nur zappeliger, unruhiger und nervöser als in den früheren Jahrgängen, sondern es nehme auch die Minderheit der ruppigen, aggressiven, gewalttätigen und sogar brutalen SchülerInnen zu" (Hurrelmann, 1995, S. 75). Empirische Studien zu diesem Themengebiet weisen eindeutig darauf hin, dass "...die Entwicklung von und die Bereitschaft zu aggressivem Verhalten bei einem Teil der Kinder sehr frühzeitig einsetzen kann und dass diese Kinder dann eine schlechte Prognose haben (Loeber, 1990)" (Cierpka, 1999, S.3). Aus diesem Grund muss möglichst früh im Leben eines Kindes interveniert werden, wenn eine effektive Einflussnahme angestrebt wird. Die vorliegende Arbeit trägt den Titel "Programme zur Minderung aggressiven Verhaltens bei Grundschülern". Das Ziel der Arbeit ist es, einen repräsentativen, wenn auch nicht vollständigen Überblick über solche Maßnahmen zu geben, die zur Realisierung in der Grundschule durch die Lehrkräfte vorgeschlagen werden. Insbesondere sollen dabei folgende Fragen geklärt werden: Ist es überhaupt möglich im schulischen Rahmen eine Minderung aggressiven Verhaltens zu erreichen? Welche Ansatzpunkte zur Aggressionsminderung an der Grundschule sind erfolgversprechend und welche psychologischen Annahmen und Mechanismen liegen ihnen zugrunde? Lassen sich durch Programme, die die Veränderung des schulischen Kontext als Mittel der Reduktion aggressiven Schülerverhaltens nutzen positivere Effekte erzielen, als durch solche, die die Minderung über die Ausbildung kompetenten Lehrerverhaltens ode
