Des champignons (pleurote et shiitake) ont été cultivés dans un environnement contrôlé en utilisant des déchets agricoles, des épis de maïs, du son de riz, du son de blé et des déchets de coton comme substrats. 30,0 g de chacun des champignons produits ont été séchés à des températures de 60, 105 et 120oC, broyés et emballés. Les échantillons fraîchement récoltés des deux produits ont été congelés. Les propriétés physiques des champignons fraîchement récoltés ont été déterminées et l'analyse de proximité a révélé que le champignon produit par cette méthode est de haute qualité. La technologie de production est relativement simple, moins chère et adaptée à notre situation locale.
