The 2nd Annual Gayarre Conference was held March 14, 2014 at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. It was sponsored by the Gayarre History Club of C.E. Byrd High Schools. Secondary students in Caddo Parish Schools were asked to submit proposals on the 2014 theme: Revolutons. Proposals were judged by a group of students and teachers. Twenty-six proposals were selected to be presented at the conference, including students from C.E. Byrd High School and Caddo Parish Magnet High School.
