Die Mutter, die ihr fünf Jahre altes Kind in der Straßenbahn stillt, der Junge, der verträumt seine rot lackierten Fingernägel betrachtet und die Person in Anzug, die barfuß unterwegs zum Arbeitsplatz ist. Sie alle haben nicht nur gemeinsam, dass sie mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit verständnislose, missbilligende oder gar diskriminierende Blicke durch die Öffentlichkeit ernten, sie alle erfahren auch die Bezeichnung als Normbrecher*innen. Wie bunt die Welt und unser Leben sein könnte, wären da nicht die Normen, die einem Vorschriften darüber machen welches Handeln noch im Rahmen, oder besser gesagt in der Norm liegt, und welches nicht, könnte man sich nun denken. Tatsächlich haben Normen die Eigenschaft bzw. Funktion, die individuelle Erlebnisvielfalt auf typisierte Handlungen bzw. Situationen runter zu brechen und somit zu reduzieren. Normen bzw. Normsetzungen können also in gewissem Sinne als konkurrierend oder gar kontradiktorisch zu Vielfalt oder Diversität gesehen werden, denn sie engen diese gewissermaßen ein. Doch wo werden diese einengenden Normsetzungen zum Thema bzw. zum Problem? Die Pädagogik als Disziplin scheint dabei eine der vordersten Plätze zu belegen, denn die Pädagogik kommt wie wir sehen werden schlichtweg nicht ohne Normsetzungen aus. Und das nicht nur weil manche Erziehungsziele Normen sind, die tradiert werden sollen. Doch allein diese Tatsache kann schon zur Herausforderung werden: Welche Erziehungsziele sollen gelten und welche Normen sind insofern tradierungswürdig? [...] Kaum eine andere Profession bzw.
