The year is approximately 2790. The Earth has been stripped almost bare of all its resources. All the animals and most of the fresh water are gone. The western half of the United States, from what was known as the Mississippi River all the way to what remains of the western shore, is nothing but a radioactive wasteland. The sky has turned blood red and you can smell death in the air. There are numerous plagues and minimal medical supplies. Few signs of human civilization are left. The buildings are no more than high-rise caves for the SpliMen. After several wars and the nuclear explosions, the SpliMen now rule Earth. Each country has its own SpliMen leader. The SpliMen are genetically engineered humans whose deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) has been spliced with alien life forms that were gathered in the 20th Century. The SpliMen do all they can to destroy the Pure-bloods before they can find a way to turn them back into simple humans again. While doing this, the SpliMen leaders try to prove to the other country SpliMen leaders that they are in complete control of their domain. Their goal is to maintain rule of the earth and destroy all non-SpliMen. The leader of the American SpliMen, Lord Kilroy, has vowed to destroy all traces of mankind in America. The only thing standing in his way is the New Men and the Pure-bloods. Most Pure-bloods, humans with no trace of DNA splicing, have escaped to the mountains, underground and in caves; fighting to stay alive. How many humans are left is unknown. The humans that remain in the cities are slaves and entertainment to the SpliMen. Either way, they wish they were dead. The New Men have sworn to protect the remains of humanity with their lives, even if most Pure-bloods would rather see all spliced beings destroyed. The New Men are genetically altered humans as well, but their DNA mix is with the animals of earth. The battle has continued since before the SpliMen took power. It is time for the Pure-bloods to rule Earth again. This won't be easy. The SpliMen will not give up without a fight. And that is just how the New Men want it. But while they bravely defend the Pure-bloods from the obvious threat in front of them, the SpliMen, there are factions in each race that have their individual ideas how the planet should be run. And they will do anything to accomplish their goals. The very people the New Men are protecting may be the biggest threat to their existence.
