Die Webseite mit ihren vielen Funktionen ist zum bedeutenden Instrument in der Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit geworden. Auch dem Sport ist diese Entwicklung nicht fern geblieben, da nicht selten auch kleine Vereine mit ihren einfachen Homepages die Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit gestalten wollen. Gerade aber die Leichtigkeit, mit der PR-Arbeit im Internet geleistet werden kann, birgt in sich Gefahren.
