Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Arbeit, Ausbildung, Organisation, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mit dem Beginn der 1980er Jahre entflammte eine neue Diskussion über die mangelnde Flexibilität des Arbeitsmarktes, welche für Deregulierungsbefürworter insbesondere auf die hohe Regulierungsdichte zurückzuführen war. Durch diese schien der Arbeitsmarkt nicht in der Lage zu sein, sich an die veränderten Rahmenbedingungen anzupassen, wie zum Beispiel die Globalisierung, den sektoralen Strukturwandel oder das Eintreten der Massenarbeitslosigkeit. Die Maßnahmen, die daraufhin ergriffen wurden, führten zu strukturellen Änderungen des Arbeitsmarktes. Diese Arbeit zeigt auf, inwiefern sich die Gründe für prekäre Arbeitsverhältnisse in Deutschland in diesen Veränderungen erkennen lassen. Deregulierungen sind in dieser Arbeit die Eingriffe und Maßnahmen des Staates zur Lockerung oder Aufhebung bestimmter arbeitsmarktspezifischen Regularien, welche die unternehmerischen Flexibilisierungsbemühen flankieren, begrenzen und erweitern. Weiterhin werden auch die verschärften Gesetze in Form von Reregulierungen miteinbezogen, welche eine Flexibilisierung des Arbeitnehmers zur Folge haben. Es wird argumentiert, dass die erwähnten Maßnahmen zu einer Verbreitung von Beschäftigungen geführt haben, deren Prekaritätsrisiko im Vergleich als hoch einzuschätzen ist. Eine methodische Schwierigkeit besteht bei der Herstellung kausaler Erklärungsmuster. Die Arbeitsmarktinstitutionen geben keine klare Handlungsdirektive vor, sondern setzen in der Regel den Handlungsspielraum für das Verhalten der Wirtschaftssubjekte, deren heterogene Präferenzen beeinflussen, ob eingeschränkte und gelockerte Handlungsspielräume Relevanz erhalten. Eine monokausale Erklärung scheitert bereits an dem Fakt, dass sich gesellschaftliche und wirtschaftliche Veränderungen, wie die Arbeitsmarktemanzipation der Frauen und die Arbeitsmarktstruktur, reflexiv beeinflussen.
