Diese wissenschaftliche Arbeit zeigt auf, mit welchen Methoden Unternehmen in der Lage wären, Preise für ihre Produktinnovationen zu gestalten und zielgerecht auf den Markt zu bringen. Der theoretische Teil beschäftigt sich mit thematischen Vertiefungen im Bereich der Produktinnovation und Preisstrategie. In jedem Teil der wissenschaftlichen Arbeit wird die spezifische Besonderheit des Preises herausgearbeitet, welche die Grundlage für den praktischen Teil bildet. Der praktische Teil zeichnet sich durch die Kombination und Rückfolgerung aus dem theoretischen Teil aus. Die theoretisch herausgearbeiteten Methoden wurden für den Vergleich realitätsnaher Vorgehensweisen in Unternehmen verwendet. Diese systematischen Schritte ermöglichten es, verschiedenste Methoden gegenüber zu stellen und Ableitungen für Unternehmen industrieller Anwendungen zu treffen. Zur Untermauerung der Ergebnisse wurden vorhandene Studien mit einbezogen sowie Expertengespräche mit führenden Unternehmen in verschiedenen Branchen geführt.
