Os Institutos Federais de Educação se congregam neste conjunto de políticas que tentam tonalizar socialmente políticas de desenvolvimento e renda pautadas pelas ideologias que dão corpo a superestrutura neoliberal. A política implementada pelos Institutos Federais está atrelada a "tentativa de rejuvenescimento" dos princípios neoliberais, através do neodesenvolvimentismo, no neoassistencialismo e neoinstitucionalismo. Além disso, há uma focalização das políticas educacionais para amenizar os conflitos internos estabelecidos pelos circuitos produtivos e financeiros do Capital e na constante flexibilização das instituições de ensino para oferta de uma formação aligeirada. A problemática central é analisar quais mecanismos e processos provocam a precarização da formação de professores no Instituto Federal do Acre - Campus Cruzeiro do Sul. Assim, com relação aos aspectos metodológicos, a presente pesquisa se construiu em uma abordagem qualitativa (STAKE, 2011, GIBBS, 2009, RICHARDSON, 2010), incluindo a realização de uma revisão bibliográfica e análise documental, complementada pela realização de um estudo de caso (YIN, 2010), a partir da coleta de dados empíricos. Assume-se os pressupostos analíticos do Materialismo histórico como forma de compreensão do objeto e da realidade. Acredita-se que as categorias histórico-dialéticas: a práxis, a totalidade, a mediação, a contradição e historicidade contribuem para a análise de políticas educacionais. Além destas categorias centrais, temos o trabalho e a precarização da formação como categorias de análise. Foram sujeitos desta pesquisa 13 docentes e 3 técnicos que atuam/atuaram na Licenciatura em Matemática, 16 egressos e 10 discentes do curso. Os dados coletados foram organizados, tratados e analisados utilizando o software para análise de pesquisa qualitativa NVivo 11 Starter for Windows e, também, nos pressupostos da Análise de Conteúdo, seguindo o roteiro proposto por Bardin (2011) e da Análise de Conteúdo temático-categorial (GUERRA, 2014). Concluímos que esta concretização institucional - Institutos Federais - resultou em diversos processos como: carreira precarizada, verticalização do trabalho, aumento da intensidade do trabalho, diminuição do tempo de descanso, incorporação de um maior quantum de trabalho pelo aumento da grandeza de complexidade da jornada de trabalho e flexibilidade da ação docente. Tais processos, no caso estudado, se aprofundaram devido às condições de criação desta instituição sem que houvesse experiência anterior. Assim, a precarização da formação de professores no IFAC - Campus Cruzeiro do Sul é uma concretização desta institucionalidade, e possui diversos elementos como: a precariedade da formação dos formadores, a ausência de formação continuada dos professores formadores, a desarticulação entre o IFAC e as escolas de educação básica, a rotatividade, os problemas estruturais, estágio desorganizado, práticas de ensino sem objetivos teórico-práticos, verticalização do trabalho, sobrecarga de trabalho dos docentes formadores, multiplicidade de tarefas que geram um rompimento da tríade ensino, pesquisa e extensão na formação de professores para a educação básica.
