About the Book

This is not a book about how to pray. It's a book about what happens when we pray. Read over 45 stories of how the Lord has answered the prayers of a Denver church, CHCC, among their unreached people group, the Chantik. The Prayers of Many is a celebration of how a prayer movement has spread the Good News of Jesus to the dark corners of the world. It reminds us that prayer has the power to change the world and encourages us to be world changers with it. Amazing transformation happens when an ordinary church-a community of faith-prays and obeys the call of God to reach out to a highly resistant people group. This is a powerful story about prayer, by faithful men and women who have chosen to pray for and work among a challenging people, for the sake of Christ. Read this book and pass it on to your church leadership. Features - - Honest stories about the ups and downs of adopting a people group in a very difficult field. - 45 stories from the mission field that answer specific prayers prayed by the church. - 37 infographics to visually express the victories of collaboration over 25 years. - Encouraging stories of conversions to Christianity and miracles occurring.
About the Author: D.G. Wynn was a missionary with CRM (Church Resource Ministries) and worked side-by-side with Navigators in Glasgow, Scotland. Since her return from the field she's been a passionate missions advocate working in the local church and missions community of Denver, CO. She's been involved in short-term missions for almost 20 years and is a staunch advocate of church-wide prayer being key to prosperous ministry locally and internationally. D.G. partnered with Cherry Hills Community Church and their outreach department to help tell this story of the work among the Chantik and inspire the next generation of missionaries-those who go across the world and those who go across the street. While "The Prayers of Many" was her first published book, it will by no means be the last. In addition to promoting missions and prayer through her writing, she is a speaker with the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement and speaks regularly at conferences, events, and schools. Connect with her at www.dgwynn.com or on facebook by searching 'D.G. Wynn' or on Twitter @DG_Wynn.
