Dr. Lokendra Malik is practicing as an Advocate in the Supreme Court of India, associated with Senior Advocate Salman Khurshid, former Union Minister of Law and Justice and External Affairs. He has earned his B. A LL.B., and LL.M. from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and did his Ph.D. in Indian Constitutional Law from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India. Recently he has also been awarded the prestigious LL.D. (Post-doctorate) degree from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore in the area of Indian Constitutional Law. Public law is his main area of interest. He has also been a Professor of Law at Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi and taught the senior civil servants. He is associated with a number of prestigious academic bodies such as Indian Law Institute, Indian Institute of Public Administration, and Dr. Zakir Hussain Study Circle. He is a member of reputed Berkeley Comparative Anti-Discrimination Law Virtual Study Group, a group of scholars from multiple academic disciplines from five continents, joined together by an interest in the study of comparative anti-discrimination law.
