About the Book

Are we to be a powerless people with the knowledge of the Power of God? Are we people who are unaware in the Power of Prayer? We boast relentlessly about the goodness of God and then when we hear of violence in the school systems we get afraid and disgruntled. We see families break up due to addictions and other strongholds and we turn our head. We see churches fall apart and we leave to find another place of worship. What happened to the bold Christians in Christ? If we are God's People then we have a responsibility to do greater things. We have the responsibility to seek God's face and to cry out to Him on the behalf of the lost sheep, our sister's & brothers in Christ. The responsibility of teaching our children about the Power of God's hand is a task that must be done. When we see things built by God fall apart or take a direct hit, we need to take responsibility to pray, get aggressive and work in the spirit.
About the Author: Dr. Jeffrey W. Fuller is the Pastor of the Rockford Baptist Church in Rockford, Alabama. He is a preacher, teacher, speaker, featured columnist in the Coosa County local newspaper, writer and publisher. Born in Marshall County (Alabama) and with his early childhood in Talladega (Alabama) at the age of 12, his family moved to DeKalb County, Alabama and Fort Payne became his native home. Dr. Fuller graduated from Fort Payne High School and studied at Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville, AL. He earned the Certificate in Christian Training from Samford University and studied Christian Education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned three degrees from Christian Bible College and Seminary (Missouri): Bachelor's in Religious Education, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Philosophy. Ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1985, Dr. Fuller has been in the ministry for 33 years. He has served in various roles at various churches, was a full-time Evangelist for three years and has taught on the college level. Presently, he is in the 11th year as Pastor of the Rockford Baptist Church. As a part of ministry, Dr. Fuller has served in various leadership positions within the local association and on the state level of Alabama Baptist life. He serves as Moderator of the Central Baptist Association, on the State Board of Missions, as a trustee for ALCAP, and on the Board of Governors of Judson College. Additionally, Dr. Fuller has also made it his aim to serve in various ways outside the "walls of the church." Offering service and direction to various community and civic organizations, he has actively sought to bring the hope of Jesus to all people. Through his ministry-over a 29-year span-he has served as a Chaplain in Law Enforcement and is currently the Chaplain for Coosa County Sheriff's Office and the Coosa County Emergency Management Agency. Dr. Fuller is married to Tina Self Fuller and they have a beautiful, talented daughter, Savannah Rae. He enjoys time spent with his "girls," hiking, walking, vacationing in the mountains, gardening, horseback riding, and taking time to enjoy nature and history.
