About the Author: B. R. Maul grew up in Moorhead, Minnesota. Having studied creative writing and secondary English education in college, he planned to teach for a living, and then pursue his passion for writing stories after retiring. After losing several loved ones, Maul was reminded just how precious time is and was compelled to begin writing immediately. This, combined with his lifelong love of fantasy fiction, resulted in his debut novel, Portals, Passages & Pathways. He hasn't stopped writing since.
Maul currently lives in Moorhead, Minnesota with his wife and three daughters.
