About the Book

Michelle Williams, a very successful surgeon and highly respected member of the hospital staff and outstanding citizen. Did I say Michelle was as beautiful a woman as they come? Got it all, one would tend to think and say. Well, you don't know the half of it. You see Michelle had a childhood of terror and bounced from foster home to foster home. Yet she survived on dogged determination and escaped her plight immediately upon turning eighteen. The next few years saw her growing stronger and struggling to earn a living while remaining in college aiming for her medical degree. It was during these life struggles that Michelle deviated from what we call "normal" methods and carefully stepped into a quasi-immoral and ethical way of acquiring her medical degree. It was with honesty and necessity that Michelle forged ahead to achieve the need to earn more money. It was the egotistical senility of an old man that modified her direction and thus her earning capacity. Michelle became aware of the throbbing egotistical needs of very old men and exploited this to a serious degree prior to achieving her medical degree. The relationship she forged with several turned into her "family" as she quietly continued to meet each one as she grew into the medical and surgical genius she became. Just as guilt was beginning to emerge within her mind a series of events begin to unfold that drove that wedge even tighter. Andy was the police chief of a nearby town and had barely settled in with his young and beautiful wife. This union produced a beautiful daughter and their lives were tragically cut short by a drunk driver running them down as they walked. Andy's grief manifested itself in many ways and he was just beginning to heal as he drove to a favorite beach one day. That road just happened to run right next to Michelle's home and she just happened to be headed out to clear her head when she pulled out in front of Andy without looking. In spite of the accident, the injuries, the nightmare of the situation and subsequent events the magic that sparked between Michelle and Andy was the beginning of something far more beautiful than their past. As the story unfolds then the wedding at the cabin, as noted in the book "Golden Grass," was touching, beautiful and spiritual. The result was a beautiful young lady named "Tanya" who came to know her parents as few children do.
