Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Universität Hamburg (Fakultät EPB), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit soll sich mit Bewertungsverfahren beim Poetry Slam im Deutschunterricht beschäftigen. Dieses Thema wurde gewählt, weil es für den modernen Deutschunterricht eine große Bereicherung darstellt, denn viele Jugendliche genießen Poetry Slam auch ohne die Institution Schule in ihrer Freizeit. Der Unterricht sollte sich diese Eigenmotivation der Lernenden zu Nutze machen, um durch die Behandlung solcher "Gegenwartsliteratur" auch die Motivation im Unterricht zu steigern (vgl. Pfäfflin 2010, S. 9; Willrich 2010, S. 127). Aber warum stellt Poetry Slam eine so bedeutsame Rolle für viele Jugendliche dar, im Gegensatz zu anderer moderner Literatur? Dies mag zum einen daran liegen, dass die heutige Gegenwart mehr denn je als "mediales Konstrukt" erscheint und Poetry Slam in das Mediengenre einzuordnen ist (vgl. Pfäfflin 2010, S. 6). Zum anderen hat Poetry Slam für viele Jugendliche eine individuelle Bedeutsamkeit, weil diese auf ihrer Suche nach einer Ich-Identität unterstützt werden, indem sie mit den jeweiligen Lebensentwürfen der Slammer/ -innen konfrontiert werden (vgl. Anders 2013, S. 76). Poetry Slam hat aufgrund der kollektiven Rezeptionssituation aber auch eine soziale Bedeutsamkeit, weil die beteiligten Personen ihren ästhetischen Genuss und ihr Missbehagen an den Texten und Performances teilen (vgl. Abraham & Kepser 2009, S. 16). Auch eine kulturelle Bedeutsamkeit geht von Poetry Slam aus. Denn wenn Poetry Slam im Unterricht behandelt wird, kann dies dazu beitragen, dass Jugendliche lernen, die Texte nicht nur auf sich selbst zu beziehen, sondern deren kollektive Bedeutsamkeit zu begreifen (vgl. Abraham & Kepser 2009, S. 18).
