About the Book
This story is a conversation that sparked in response to life's chaos; a story read first, and written afterwards; a story still being written and read. There was never an intention of writing a book until the book appeared, already written. This is a series that manifested itself. The blueprint of what one may call a philosophy, a perspective, a belief, a direction, or a complete coincidence lay before the eyes of a lonely man looking into his iPhone, slowly beginning to realize he was reading a story, and telling one, in collaboration with another storyteller. One who recalls never getting an iPhone being that they're too gaudy, and only using phones with buttons, and T9word. Eziikiill Grey, a structured individual raised by LAPD detectives who is desperately searching for peace of mind as he watches his love, family, home, sport, education, credibility, security, and sanity be thrashed about and turned upside down. The sensations this man experienced were more grueling than any physical, mental, or emotional pain he had ever felt. With the foundation of his life in shambles, he sought advice. In a moment of complete distress, he noticed a text message in his phone. He remembered saving the message so he could take the time to respond to it properly, but never did, being that he could never quite figure out how to respond at all. The saved text message came from Izenhaera Gold, an intriguing friend the troubled man had always respected, but wasn't necessarily close with. This friend was always quiet, kept to himself, travelled alone, and seemed out of his element whenever in public. Knowing this, the struggling man never understood how a person who would often shrug off the idea of "company" could also be so willing to halt his own pleasure in order to lessen the pain of any particular individual. Eziikiill had never witnessed anyone exhibiting such control throughout their day, work, leisure, love, hobbies, and time, that is, until he focused on Izenhae
