Paulo Padrós Garzón es uno de los exponentes de la nueva literatura latinoamericana, una literatura con claro compromiso social en donde lo inexplicable convive con lo cotidiano, y lo irreal se puede tornar en algo común y corriente. "Poemas y revoluciones" es la primer obra de su Serie Verde de poesía, en donde a pesar de su profundo lirismo y de la gran sensibilidad que muestra, no abandona nunca el trasfondo de protesta social, la queja ante las injusticias que nos plantea la vida contemporánea, pero esta vez de manera más sutil y solapada. La poética de Padrós Garzón es irreverente, coloquial, impertinente en algunos párrafos, pero en todos muy original y auténtica, donde se hace una referencia constante a sucesos y personajes de la historia entremezclados con nuestros hechos cotidianos, y allí en esa amalgama entre lo trascendente y lo cotidiano es precisamente donde se encuentra el lirismo de su poesía: Llevo los muertos de la historia en las palmas de mis manosy sólo se que cuando descubro tus piernas el tiempo no pasa, que cuando tu hablas Marx se vuelve un niño y Kirchner corre entre margaritas.La noche se detiene mágica hasta que me preguntas¿Todo bien compañero?, está muy ausente hoy ....Al carajo Marx, que se pudra Stalin, sólo quiero estar contigo hasta que la revolución triunfey el Che Guevara vuelva a descender del Granma a voltearlo a Batista.Leyendo este libro, nos damos cuenta de cómo es posible encontrar imágenes bellas utilizando personajes históricos como Marx o Kirchner; cómo se logra el activismo sin abandonar la eterna búsqueda del amor, un amor que se encuentra, se disfruta y se pierde indefinidamente a lo largo de todo el libro. Hay además una referencia explícita a la situación de la dirigente originaria Milagro Sala, Diputada de la Provincia de Jujuy, (Argentina), y Parlamentaria del Mercosur, ya que en Enero de 2016 fue encarcelada bajo el gobierno de Mauricio Macri sin acusaciones judiciales probadas, por lo que numerosas instituciones internacionales como la ONU, la CIDH, el Mercosur, Amnesty International entre otras, han catalogado su encierro como político, y hasta el momento de la publicación de este libro no ha sido liberada: Extiende tus brazos como alas y vuela, vuela alto, vuela tan alto que te quedes sin alientoy pierdas de vista la tierra a tus pies.Vuela tan pero tan alto que el temor se te escape para siemprey nada de lo visible condicione tus sueños;vuela tan pero tan alto que la prisión te parezca pequeña....Sin embargo, lejos de una mera declaración panfletaria, este poema prescinde de caer en lugares comunes y se transforma en una admonición que nos atañe a todos: Suelta tu amor y ama, pero ama muy fuerte, ama hasta que se te rompa el aliento, ama hasta que no puedas decir que este cuerpo, esta sangre, este aliento es tuyo o de tanta gente que vela por ti.Ama para siempre sin esperar nada a cambio, porque las cosas vienen caminando solitas y sin apuro, ...Este libro de Padrós Garzón es una evidencia imprescindible de cómo es posible comprometerse en algo que entusiasme nuestras vidas, llevando "los muertos de la historia en la palma de nuestras manos".
