Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2014 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Erwachsenenbildung, Note: 2,0, FernUniversität Hagen (Institut für Bildungswissenschaft und Medienforschung), Veranstaltung: Anwendungsbezogene Bildungsforschung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Seit der Entwicklung digitaler Medien und der dadurch hervorgegangenen Informations- und Wissensgesellschaft stellt sich für die Bildungswissenschaft die Frage, ob und inwiefern diese Medien (direkten) Einfluss auf den Lernerfolg besitzen bzw. wie sie zum Lernerfolg beitragen können. Richard Clark zufolge hat das jeweils genutzte Medium keinen Einfluss auf den Lernerfolg, der durch die Lerneinheit damit erreicht wird, es stellt nur das Transportmittel für die Lerninhalte dar. Der Lernerfolg kann ausschließlich durch die gewählte beziehungweise dem Medium inhärente Methode begründet werden, durch welche der Lerninhalt aufbereitet wird. Die daraus resultierende didaktische Qualität bestimmt, inwieweit Lerninhalte vermittelt bzw. aufgenommen werden können. Robert Kozma hingegen schreibt dem Medium eine wichtige Funktion bei der Vermittlung von Lehr-/Lerninhalten zu. Seinem Standpunkt zufolge hängt der Einfluss eines Mediums auf den Lernerfolgdavon ab, ob das jeweils genutzte Medium eine gute Passung zu Lernsituation, Aufgabenstellung und dem individuellen Lernenden aufweist. Entspricht die Aufbereitung des Lehrstoffes den Charakteristika eines Mediums, wird der Lernprozess auch durch das jeweilige Medium positiv beeinflusst. Kozma erklärt außerdem, dass Lernen als Resultat aus Interaktion zwischen Lernenden und über ein Medium vermittelten Inhalten entsteht und damit ein aktiver, konstruktiver Prozess ist. Die Tatsache, dass diese Diskussion schon über Jahre zurückliegt und seitdem sowohl neue Medientypen, als auch neue Formen des Lernens entstanden sind, legt die wiederholte/ Betrachtung der Verbindung von Medium und Lernen nahe. Es stellt sich einerseits die Frage, wie neue Medien, beispielsweise Podcasts als didaktis
