About the Book

Ozzie, Sarge, Brett and Frankie have been best friends for as long as they can remember. The four of them graduated high school together and remained in their little town continuing to be little boys as long as life will allow them. But when Ozzie gets married things change, and becoming a father soon forces him to choose between his family and his friends. The four men live by the "Guy's Code" and what goes on with the four of them stays with the four of them. Ozzie chooses to spend time out with his friends, leaving his wife and children at home and allowing him to get into trouble-like fooling around with other women and doing cycles of steroids with his buddies. No one sees it as a problem until Sarge begins to grow close to Ozzie's young son and his wife. He develops a new perception, one from their side, and his conscience is conflicted. Ozzie is his best friend and could never turn him in, but he is watching the man destroy other people's lives. Sarge's conflict grows worse when Ozzie's drug habit forces him into some really tight positions that Sarge has to lie to get him out of. When the steroids make Ozzie so short tempered that he explodes and injures his tiny son, Sarge knows he must break the "Guy's Code" even though it will end his friendship with Ozzie forever.

Cazzey Louis Cereghino- A singer-songwriter of over 700 published songs, musician of 17 instruments, television and commercial actor and stunt man, Capital One Viking, novelist of 14 books, a popular blog and over 60 short stories appearing in various publications including the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, former pro athlete, commercial fisherman on the Bering Sea, Worldwide missionary, reverend of near 15-20 weddings and funerals per year, Licensed Nautical Captain, competitive strongman and powerlifter, is a native of Milwaukie, Oregon. In a typical year he will find himself with as many as 26 different types of professions, some of them in extreme conditions in nearly 120 different countries. Much of this time is spent eating bugs and snakes, living in huts, walking on broken bones through the Amazon, public speaking in countries where little English is spoken, pulling hare-brained stunts and adventuring, all in hopes of gathering the next story for his ever-growing set of books. In the couple of months a year he's at home, he resides in Los Angeles with his Harley Davidsons, Pedal Tricycles, creepy windowless vans and surfing dogs. A Polar Bear and Penguin Club member, having swam at or near both the North and South Pole, Cazzey enjoys skydiving, attacking armed robbers and villainous perpetrators on the street, bridge jumping, running marathons while playing multiple instruments, lifting cars, jumping off buildings, running with refrigerators on his shoulders, kicking wild Grizzly bears, wiffleball, traveling, spontaneity, growing his foot long beard and his 300 lb frame, and embellishing all his adventures just slightly, in order to make his stories jump out at listeners/readers.
