A fun way to teach children how to write from one to ten. Bikes have been a staple to children, teenagers, and adults all around the world. As a child, you start out riding a small bike, then to a bigger bike, and finally maybe to a motorcycle.

This was an awesome book and workbook to create. It brought back some of my childhood experiences. I remember as a kid learning how to ride my first bike, advancing to a bigger bike, then to a motorized bike, and then finally to a big motorcycle. Not everyone has the desire to ride a motorcycle, but I found working on them and riding them very soothing and relaxing. Developing a short story that teaches numbers while racing around a dirt track was very fun. I wrote and illustrated the fun into the book, so kids can see and feel the fun like I did. The handmade illustrations are colorful and fun to look at. Your child's imagination will take over and the fun of learning will start. The concept in the way this book is written was to make it interactive so you could also have some fun with your child while you are helping them learn to write, count and read.

The book cover brings the character "Pillow" and the bike into view. It gives you a preview of what the illustrations will look like that will be in the book. The Pillow, as the character, is relatable because it is an item that we all use each day. It brings humor and imagination into the book. A Pillow riding a bike, ha-ha!!

This dedication goes out to everyone that helps to reduce climate change. Did you know that a volcano (Mount Tambora) in 1815 on the island of Sumbawa in Indonesia was the largest recorded eruption in recorded history. The result from this eruption was the invention of the first bicycle called laufmaschine ("running machine"). The laufmaschine also referred to as the dandy horse, was invented by Baron Karl von Drais, a German inventor. This was invented due to the climate change that resulted from the volcano eruption. Horses were used less due to lack of resources to feed them, which drove the need for other means of transporting things to be invented. To this day, we invent machinery to help reduce climate change, or to help us with climate change.

The Pillow being the character riding the bike, is like the pillow your child is familiar with at bedtime or relaxing with on the couch. The different color Pillows racing around this dirt track is fun to look at while switching pages through the book. Each Pillow has its own way of advancing their number on the dirt track while trying to win the race.

The writing voice in the eBook is that of a sports commentator. As your children and you read this book, you both will sound like you are a sports commentator. In this book, you will see each number, the sequence of the numbers and the numbers spelled out. I love using funny phrases to make your children and you chuckle at the same time as you are helping them learn. My goal is to make learning fun.
