About the Author: Jean-Marie Ntipouna est citoyen belge d'origine camerounaise. Il est né à Douala le chef-lieu de la région du Littoral. Après avoir terminé ses études secondaires en mathématiques et sciences naturelles au Cameroun, il part pour la Belgique poursuivre ses études supérieures. Il suit une formation d'enseignant de collège en mathématique-physique. Il travaillera pendant plusieurs années pour la Communauté Française de Belgique comme enseignant de l'enseignement secondaire. En 2006, il s'installe aux États-Unis d'Amérique pour enseigner le français, les mathématiques et les sciences naturelles en immersion française pour le compte du CODOFIL (Council Of Development Of French In Louisiana) dans la paroisse (conté) de Saint Martin dans l'état de Louisiane. Son parcours académique se résume comme suit: - Agrégé ESI en Mathématique-Physique, École Normale de Braine-le-Comte (Belgique), Juin 1996. - Diplômé d'études spécialisées (certificat) en Éducation et Gestion scolaire, Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgique), Octobre 1997. - Master of Arts in French, University of Louisiana at Lafayette (USA), Spring 2009. - Doctor of Philosophy in Francophone Studies, University of Louisiana at Lafayette (USA), Fall 2011.
