Retired military tactics instructor explains how to beat terrorism where it lives - within you...
Colorado author and retired career Army Sergeant knows what it will take to end the reign of terrorism in the world. In the book "The Person Within You" by Justice T. Salute (author wishes to remain anonymous for personal reasons), the case for ending terrorism at its source is clearly made.
"Justice" knows from personal experience from many years in combat zones, what happens when people are forced to become refugees or live in impoverished conditions due to circumstances beyond their control. He's witnessed the breaking of those people's moral compasses because they are living in a personal hell they blame others for - and rightfully so. "This is when, we are at our most vulnerable and any solution seems like a way out. This is where the terrorist recruiter goes to fill the ranks for their cause," Salute explains.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend," is the familiar mantra here. But the point these recruiters make is that their organizations are 'doing something' about the situation and this feels empowering to someone who is feeling victimized.
"The Person Within You" examines this scenario and empowers readers to short-circuit arguments that ultimately cut the head off the snake that is the terrorist recruiter. "Diminishing or ending the power of the would-be recruiter empties the ranks of the terrorists organizations and without bodies to sacrifice for their causes, the terrorist organizations will shrink to a point of powerlessness," Salute preaches.
By helping you to examine your own personal vulnerabilities, the author's goal is to illuminate 'from within' the people who are 'ripe for the picking' for the terrorist recruiter. The author then wants to send messages of true personal power and hope to the person who finds him/herself in a situation they feel they can't overcome. Salute teaches, "There are other solutions than to agree to an even worse fate by falling for the hate rhetoric of the terrorist recruiter who exploits people in hopeless situations. Don't fall into the trap."
Also illustrated with Salute's own artwork steeped in the symbolism of his message, "The Person within You" is a heartfelt message to the people of this world.
The author also hopes you read this and share it with anyone you feel might be vulnerable to extreme outside influences.
