About the Book

This book provides a unique performance measurement system (KBEMS) built upon the critical success factors for organisational excellence by providing sound methodology based on system modelling and system for performance measurement approach currently in use and then developed new models (KBEM, KBS & KBEMS). The new models are then tested and validated by using empirical data and statistical methods. Various case studies and examples in this book provide application in certain sectors. Most importantly the generic model (KBEMS) developed in this book can easily be adopted in any organisation for any sector which in turn will provide a robust, valid, effective and easy to use performance measurement system to achieve Organisational Excellence. Finally with the help of empirical data a comparison method was suggested using the new KBEM model with EFQM and MBNQA frameworks.
