About the Book

Ever since the dawn of humanity, humans have attempted to fully comprehend and explain nature. However, orthodox science holds that not even the most sophisticated model is proficient enough to provide a perfect depiction of the universe. Indeed, no thought process thus far has ever managed to present social life, politics, economics, psychology, technology, the material world and terrestrial space as a seamless whole. Atomists described nature in the form of atoms and the surrounding void (empty space). Newtonian mechanics comprehended the natural world as being made up of particles and absolute space. Albert Einstein while explaining gravity suggested that the universe is best grasped as spatial (space) and temporal dimensions (time) - space-time. Today all the conventional fundamental interactions of nature, except gravity, are explained using the standard theory of particle physics. Albert Einstein's theory of gravitation and the Standard Model are known to be inconsistent with each other. Whereas the quantum theory describes the micro world (the subatomic composition of the universe such as electrons and quarks), the general theory of relativity excellently describes the macro world (cosmological scales such as stars, planets and galaxies). Einstein realized that the way out of the quagmire is to discover a Theory of Everything (ToE) that would unify or explain through a single model all the fundamental interactions of nature. Einstein died before achieving this feat. Following Einstein, a number of scientists have attempted to originate theories of everything (denoted as quantum gravity) such as string theory, superstring theory, M-theory and loop quantum gravity. However, critics observe that these theories do not constrain the characteristics of the predicted universe(s) and/or are inconsistent with observations. The Perfect Theory is a dialogue on the nature of reality with the world's foremost scientists. The theory almost perfectly explicates the nature of the universe in a single theoretical framework by demonstrating that the subject matter of science is spatial (non-Euclidian space) and non-spatial dimensions (inherent properties of the physical world). We are one with nature. The physical world is extended in non-physical realms in what can be described as connectedness. Hence, in addition to the familiar three-dimensional spatial world, there are twelve (12) non-spatial relations namely gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear interaction, weak nuclear interaction, dark matter, dark energy, mental faculties, senses, emotions, time, life and death. Spatial and non-spatial dimensions are the reference frames in which we organize our experience. Following Immanuel Kant, the physical (noumenal) world cannot be comprehended directly. The subject for scientific study is the phenomenal world (phenomena or properties of the physical world). We grasp the universe by studying non-physical phenomena. The gist of The Perfect Theory is that connectedness is what drives science and everything else. Connectedness as a thought process represents another noteworthy stride in the human quest for meaning. Connectedness is essential to our understanding of the origins, structure and ultimate fate of the universe, and our place in it. The universe is an organic whole, a whole in which all parts are connected. We are one (share a purpose) regardless of the supposed diversity. History, evolution and our life experience are entangled. History is the development of human awareness of our connectedness with the rest of the universe. The centerpiece of the connectedness experience is life (and death). Life (and death) is the organizing principle of the universe. Since the dawn of humankind, human beings have desired to live forever. Mourning is the most conspicuous collective expression of the human longing to circumvent death.
About the Author: I am a connectedness enthusiast, inclusive development advocate, enterpreneur, lecturer, author, synergetic democrat, futuristic thinker and expert generalist. In terms of speciality, I have taught Political Science and History at university level for many years. Some of the unique ideas I have pioneered include Connectedness (contra to Relatedness), Tajiriba Spaces, Synergetic Democracy, Tabiri Infinitum and Air/Troposphere Computing.I am the founder and CEO of Tajiriba Foundation, a non-profit start-up organization, which is pioneering Tajiriba Spaces (urbanized spaces) in rural environments worldwide.
