Will there be a perfect design that makes possible the union of two soulmates in some other spatial and temporal dimension?
The perfect design is a theory of the power that souls possess to meet again in another dimension of time and space elaborated by Dr. Juan Martín Vaamonde, who suffers the loss of love of his life at the hands of cancer.
In this fantasy of youthful romance, Vaamonde is intrigued by all the mysteries of the universe when he reads the book The Grand design, by the genius of astrophysics and cosmology, Stephen Hawking. How to imagine that inside black holes you can go back in time and supply energy to the entire Earth, in the event that it is possible to be inside them. Vaamonde is greatly intrigued by the formula written on the epitaph from Hawking's grave. Suppose it is a key, a password, a key to enter another dimension. For this reason, the protagonist has prepared his own epitaph for when he finds the light of Aurora in the sky and can express to him what he has kept for years:
I give you my whole life
until the moment that God decides
From the first ray of light
until the last of the afternoon
You will stay forever
I will never lose you from my sight, from my body
You will be in every cubic millimeter of air
circulate through my lungs
In every milliliter through my veins,
you will be part of me
every day, every moment
After the loss of his Rory, Vaamonde is obsessed with imagining that there is a relationship at all as Hawking argues, but even more extensive, including not only matter and the universe, but also humans and their souls.
If his theory is true, it will reveal many enigmas of concepts as complex as the existence of the soul, that entity in which we all believe and yet we do not have scientific proof of its existence.
Doing everything for love may be the key to finally answering Vaamonde's questions and testing or dismissing his absurd, but likely theory, and finally being eternally happy.
