About the Book

In a world where pension plans are a struggle to maintain, employers and employees alike are in an emotional state on what should happen with their defined benefit plans. The Pension Dilemma takes the reader through the journey of the creation of a plan, to the imminent closure of a plan, through the eyes of three different individuals: The Employer, The Employee, and the Financial Advisor.
About the Author: Clinton Brown has a passion for financial services and enjoys helping his clients find solutions regarding their financial goals. He does this by guiding clients through the planning process and implementing what is of highest priority to that client. His goal is to provide clear, simple, balanced advice so clients can experience a clear peace that perpetuates a desired family legacy. Clinton's financial services firm focuses on working with businesses in exploring and finding benefit strategies for their owners and employees through effective tax advantaged vehicles, as well as coordinated Estate Planning strategies. These strategies can be implemented through a combination of insurance and investment products. Committed to professional education, Clinton graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. His continued education is important to him so that he can constantly be up to date on current financial conditions of the marketplace. He is currently enrolled in the Masters of Financial Services (MSFS) curriculum with The American College, which offers advanced education and certifications for financial professionals. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(R) (CFP(R)), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), and a Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL(R)) which are well respected designations within the Financial Services industry. To expand his knowledge and to grow professionally, Clinton completed the course work for a Wharton Certificate in Retirement Planning at The Wharton Business School in Pennsylvania. He has attended an "Annual Summit' meeting at The Wharton Business School to continue to build his knowledge. He achieved the Qualified Plan Specialist title, which was awarded by AXA Advisors, based upon successful completion of an internal training program and written assessment. This title was earned through vigorous training on Qualified Plans such as 401k, Profit Sharing, and Defined Benefit Plans. Clinton is very active in the community. He served as the President of the Yucaipa Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for the 2007 and 2008 year. Representing the Chamber, he was interviewed by CNN Local regarding the success of his 2007 term as the President of the Chamber. He served on the Boards of a variety of charities and focused on the fundraising side of each charity.
