About the Book

This story makes us the witnesses of marvelous adventures around Christmas, a young boy that lives with his brother and his sick mother, he is a nice boy, well educated and appreciated by his peers, but one day his life takes a turn: While he was helping his brother to write a letter to Saint Nicolas (Santa Klaus), his doubts about Saint Nicolas' existence and the whole Christmas magic make him run out to the puppet theater and tag on it: "Christmas is a lie" which triggers the appearance of a mysterious man named Arii that starts telling him that he is right and such a smart boy would be the perfect guest to have around, and following him he discovers a whole new magical world, with a plot around some mysterious item, stolen from Saint Nicolas by Arii's friend, a dwarf. He decides to take the item back to Saint Nicolas, which makes his adventures take a new turn, after running away from the bad guys, he runs into a Greek confectioner, friend of their family that offers him shelter, listens to his story and takes him to a magical train, that is supposed to bring him all the way to the palace of Saint Nicolas. On that train they meet very interesting people, that all come by pairs, the train on itself is a wonder too, the décor is worthy of the best hotels and the food that they serve on it is better that anything that Paul has ever eaten. But of course things couldn't go that well... The villains found a way on the train too... They forced their way into the boy's room and started threatening him. He jumps from the train and falls into a forest. There he is being chased by wolfs, a hare asked deer to come and help him. After the rescue, Paul understood that the one that just saved his life is the deer that Arii had accused of the theft. And so, they set road to bring it back to Saint Nicolas, on the road the see the beauty of the arctic plains. Once they reach a little fisherman's house, Rudolph says that they are saved, and to Paul's biggest surprise, once they enter, they find an enormous palace, with dwarfs and deers that are very kind to Paul and make him feel very welcome. After having met Saint Nicolas, he discovered the real worth of the item that he just returned to him and it's story, that the reader has witnessed from the view of the Grandmaster Aristos.

After having talked to Saint Nicolas, each guest that arrived from the train is allowed one question, Paul has one too. After that talk, he wakes up, back on that same table where he was writing his brother's letter... And he notices that his mother is not ill anymore.

This book shows true values and gives a view of morality and puts it all in a Christmas themed magic tale. It teaches us about friendship and honor from a young age.
