Essay aus dem Jahr 2016 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Multimedia, Internet, neue Technologien, Note: 1,3, Universität Siegen, Veranstaltung: Museum 2.0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Da das Thema der Partizipation und Besucherbeteiligung in Museen sowohl vor Ort als auch im Netz im Rahmen der Web 2.0-Bewegung ein viel diskutiertes Thema darstellt, untersucht diese Arbeit vor allem die in Social Media Strategien integrierten Formate Blog und Blogparade auf ihre Strukturen und Möglichkeiten der Partizipation. Zentrale Fragen sind vor allem, wie ein Blog und eine Blogparade die Partizipation von MuseumsbesucherInnen und -interessentInnen und die Einbindung dieser in den musealen Kontext steigern können und ob sie nicht bereits zu viel Einfluss an die TeilnehmerInnen abgeben. Dazu wird zuerst generell auf Blogs als Kommunikationskanal eingegangen, indem Charakteristika und Ziele des Formats benannt werden, um diese Erkenntnisse im Anschluss auf den Stellenwert des Blogs im Museumsmarketing zu übertragen. Als Praxisbeispiel dient das Marta Herford Museum mit dem Marta Blog. Nach einer Einordnung des Blogs in die digitale Strategie des Marta wird unter anderem die Funktion anhand der "Praktiken des Bloggens" (2006: 31) nach Jan Schmidt untersucht, bevor auf die angestrebten Ziele und inhaltliche Ausrichtung des eingegangen wird. Um die Ausprägung und die Art der Partizipation durch den Marta Weblog zu erfassen wird zudem die Kommunikationsstruktur untersucht. Vergleichend werden, mithilfe der durch das Marta Herford initiierten Blogparade #BesucherMacht, die sich passend dazu ebenfalls thematisch mit Partizipation und deren Grenzen beschäftigt, Blogparaden auf ihre partizipativen Elemente untersucht. Dafür wird die Möglichkeit der Beteiligung innerhalb dieser mit dem offenen Konzept des Crowdsourcing nach Howe verglichen. Im Rahmen dessen wird das Thema und die Teilnehmerstruktur der Blogparade BesucherMacht betrachtet. Schlussendlich erfolgt eine theoretische
