Siempre relegada y muchas veces olvidada por buena parte del pensamiento filosófico occidental, la escritura fue objeto, en paralelo, del mismo olvido y del mismo desplazamiento por buena parte de la teoría y la filosofía política. Recuperando la herencia derrideana y la reflexión francesa contemporánea de autores claves como Nancy, Blanchot y Rancière, este ensayo intenta, contra ello, devolverle su estatuto y su dignidad política en el mismo gesto que lo anuncia y lo inscribe como texto. ¿Y si el hombre fuera un animal político -se pregunta Juan José Martínez Olguín cerca del final del estimulante recorrido que propone en este libro- no porque habla sino porque escribe, no cuando habla sino cuando escribe? ¿No cuando hace oír su voz en la proximidad compartida del espacio público, de la asamblea o del encuentro vivo, presentemente vivo, entre los cuerpos, sino cuando, en silencio y soledad, incluso a veces en secreto, construye a través de la escritura, con unos otros (sus lectores) que en algunas ocasiones sabe pero que por regla general no sabe -no puede saber- quiénes son o quiénes puedan ser, una cierta forma de comunidad? A esa comunidad, a ese tipo de comunidad, la filosofía francesa del siglo XX, de la que este libro de Martínez Olguín es fuertemente tributario, la ha calificado ora como imposible, ora como inconfesable, ora como revocada o "des-obrada".¿Pero no es acaso a esta misma revocación, a esta misma des-realización (y por cierto: a esta misma imposibilidad), a lo que nos hemos habituado a dar, en la tradición de esa misma filosofía francesa contemporánea, el viejo nombre de política? Hay política, en efecto, justo porque nunca son precisos, y siempre son, por el contrario, objeto de disputa y de redefinición, los límites, las formas de organización y las divisiones del campo en el que son posibles las conversaciones en torno a lo común. Así, si el problema de la escritura nos dice algo sobre el problema de la política es porque el tipo de conversación que propone la escritura pone en crisis esos límites, esas formas de organización y esas divisiones, y esto porque -y en la misma medida en que- esa escritura está siempre dirigida a un otro o a unos otros que necesariamente habrán de completarla (de suplementarla) después y en otro sitio. Me gustaría leer entonces la cabriola de este libro como una apuesta a favor de ese proyecto, el de construir bajo la forma de una conversación, sub especie conversationis, ese gran sujeto colectivo al que vale la pena seguir dando el bello nombre de humanidad.
