Entre 1947 et 1949 c'est plus de 800 000 Palestiniens qui ont été expulsés manu militari par les milices sionistes au profit de colons européens. C'est sous l'ombre de cette expulsion planifiée et injuste qu'est né l'Etat d'Israël en 1949. Depuis, malheur et injustice ont élu domicile en Palestine.Entre 1967 et 2016 c'est plus de 600 000 citoyens israéliens qui ont pris illégalement le chemin des colonies en Cisjordanie à Jérusalem-Est au détriment de sa population autochtone.Décidée en août 2005 par le fin stratège Ariel Sharon, l'évacuation des 8000 colons de la bande de Gaza n'était qu'un écran de fumée; elle fut le prélude à une radicalisation de la colonisation en Cisjordanie et à un déchaînement de violence inouï contre les Palestiniens de Gaza souffrant et soumis depuis 2006 à un blocus illégal et inhumain. À trois reprises en 2008-2009 en novembre 2012 et juillet août 2014, les forces d'occupation israéliennes à grand renfort d'aviation de blindés et d'artillerie ont terrorisé la population palestinienne de Gaza coupable selon le triptyque Israël-Etats-Unis-Europe d'avoir voté démocratiquement pour le Hamas en janvier 2006.Aucun autre conflit dans le monde ne suscite autant les passions, n'attire autant de commentaires et ne cristallise autant les mythes. Et pourtant ! Les racines de ce conflit bientôt centenaire semblent bien méconnues du grand public. Est-il un conflit religieux ? About the Author: Né en Isère en 1993, Yannis Arab est actuellement étudiant en faculté d'histoire à l'Université de Grenoble. Il est l'auteur en 2015 de Un pas vers la Paix mémoires d'un jeune Palestinien, un écrit sur les mémoires d'un jeune Palestinien ayant vécu vingt deux-ans à Gaza entre 1987 et 2009.
