Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Sonstiges, Note: 2,3, Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Trennung von einem Unternehmen durch eine Kündigung wurde bisher immer als Ausnahme gesehen. Diese Zeit gehört aber der Vergangenheit an. Kein Arbeitgeber kann heute einen Arbeitsplatz auf Lebenszeit garantieren. Er muss sich immer nach der wirtschaftlichen oder konjunkturellen Lage orientieren und dahingehend auch Personal abbauen. Personalabbau und Personalfreisetzung sind die schwierigsten Themen in der Personalwirtschaft. Aber auch die Themen, die in der Literatur am seltensten behandelt werden. In den Büchern zur Personalwirtschaftslehre sind kapitelweise Informationen zur Beschaffung, Erhaltung und Förderung von Personal zu finden, aber nur wenig über das Thema Freisetzung. Meist geht es dort um die rechtlichen und finanziellen Aspekte von Kündigungen. Ein Thema, das aber leider nur kurz aufgegriffen wird, ist die verantwortungsvolle und faire Trennung von Mitarbeitern, z.B. durch das Outplacement. Dabei gewinnt es in der Unternehmenspraxis immer mehr an Bedeutung. Den Unternehmen ist das Schicksal der Entlassenen nicht völlig egal, denn eine Vereinbarung über eine Abfindungen gehört heutzutage in nahezu jeden Vertrag. Die Betroffenen leiden aber nicht nur in finanzieller, sondern auch in psychischer Hinsicht. Dieser "Trennungsschmerz" soll ebenfalls mit einer Outplacement-Beratung überwunden werden. Es ergeben sich eine Reihe von nützlichen Effekten, sowohl auf Unternehmensseite, als auch auf Arbeitnehmerseite. Im besten Fall ergibt sich für den Betroffenen eine neue Beschäftigung und das Unternehmen profitiert wiederum von der konfliktfreien Trennung. Mit meiner Arbeit möchte ich den Nutzen des Outplacement, sowohl aus betrieblicher Sicht, als auch Arbeitnehmersicht aufzeigen, ohne dabei die möglichen Probleme außer Acht zu lassen.
