About the Book
Twenty two romantic sonnets to embrace passion and love. A love story told in poetry, from the time they first met when their love first bloomed; through their hot passionate summer of life; then as the leaves turn in color in the autumn air, their love follows suite, to their final winter together with all their hopes and desires shared eternally between them, forever embraced with the seasons of life. Your past contains your memories that bind, Your present creates those moments in time, As for your future, you dream, your eyes are blind. Your love exists all at once, a love sublime. Take this moment to read aloud these lovely words, For they are words you may have never heard. Our Seasons of Ardent Love Our seasons of ardent love brings forth all our desire, Throughout our lives, we live on a loving enchanted isle. Far beyond, long, amorous nights with our souls set afre, We bonded as one, remaining forever, for it is our style. From our first chance meeting to the lives we are sharing, We have been as one united with each other, inseparably. We love each other for who we are, and all we are baring, Not by any wealth can we tithe our love incomparably. Our love can not be doled out, as money is for a favor, Nor can our love be judged by where, or how we reside. Our love for each other is truly the only love we savor, For our love comes from the depths of our hearts, inside. We are not just empty shells pretending to be unspoiled, We are both halves of a love united, and totally fulfilled. Our Mid-Summer Solstice Strolling through the mid-summer night entranced, The sidewalks still warm from the sun's radiance. Beneath the starry sky our feelings are enhanced, We both smile with a passionate countenance. The gentlest of all gentle warm breezes pass, Bringing aromas of sweet scented flowers blooming. Hand in hand we pass gardens, and mown grass, Knowing full well our love is not just arousing. In the distance, we hear small children singing, Expecting the same sounds to join our lives. Remembering back to our wedding bells ringing, This thought of children fills both of us with sighs. Filling our hearts with love and joy to share, Is our child's bright eyes, and red, red hair. Our Autumnal Equinox Oh serene autumnal love, full of the richest desires, Autumn leaves cascading upon the shoulders of all. Lovers holding hands, strolling through colors of fire, Brushing through piles of reds and yellows of the fall. An aroma of new fallen leaves wafting on the breeze, Slowly turning, brushing along the path to the ground. The evening air quickly cools; a frost, a sudden freeze, Brightly colored leaves cascade down all around. Trees bare their branches of multi-colored gowns. Lovers beneath go to reach up, but suddenly stop. Amid mounds of leaves slowly turning brown, The multi-colored leaves are blown away, they depart. The lovers still embrace in brightly colored scarves, Uniting beneath the trees; pouring forth their loves.
