JERRY LEWIS has acted or directed or written or produced-and sometimes all of them at once-in more than forty films. Twice he has been voted the Best Foreign Director of the Year by the French film critics.
His innovations, such as the remarkable set pictured on the back of this book, have been landmarks in the film industry. He was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1926 and has been involved in the entertainment industry for more than a quarter of a century-on the stage, in nightclubs, on television and in motion pictures.
Mr. Lewis passed on in August 2017 but his memory lives on.
