Mit ihrem zehnten Jahrbuch feiert die Oskar Maria Graf-Gesellschaft gleichzeitig ihr zwanzigstes Jubiläum. Ein guter Zeitpunkt, um zurück-, aber auch nach vorn zu sehen und neben Dankbarkeit und Anerkennung für die langjährigen Mitglieder neuen Perspektiven auf das Werk Grafs Raum zu geben. Mit Hilfe eines bislang unveröffentlichten Graf-Briefs widmet sich Ulrich Dittmann der Liebe des Autors zur Lyrik. Gerhard Bauer, Waldemar Fromm und Ulrich Kaufmann setzen Graf in Kontext zum politischen Geschehen seiner Zeit und gehen dabei unter anderem erstaunlichen Aspekten im Schaffen des bayerischen Autors nach. Mit Hans Dollinger und Helmut F. Pfanner blicken zum Abschluss zwei weitere Graf-Interpreten der ersten Stunde zurück auf bewegte Jahrzehnte der wissenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit der Literatur Oskar Maria Grafs.
About the Author: Dr. Ulrich Dittmann entdeckte Oskar Maria Graf, als er im ländlichen S-Bahn-Bereich um München ansässig wurde. Der geborene Berliner lernte vor allem dank Kalendergeschichten und Mutter-Buch die Mentalität der Eingeborenen zu schätzen. 1984 organisierte er mit Kollegen das Feuchtwanger/Graf-Kolloquium im Münchner Gasteig und zählt sich (trotz beruflich-wissenschaftlicher Beschäftigung mit Stifter) gerne zu den Grafologen. Bis Anfang 2003 unterrichtete er als Akademischer Direktor an der Münchner Universität Neuere Deutsche Literatur. Hans Dollinger, geboren am 5.2.1929 in Biberach a. d. Riß, gelernter Buchhändler, Verlagsbuchhändler, Journalist; lebt seit 1956 in München. Von 1956 bis 1959 Vertriebsleiter und Redakteur der 14täglich erscheinenden Zeitschrift Die Kultur im Verlag Kurt Desch (von 1959 bis 1962 alleinverantwortlich). Bekanntschaft mit Oskar Maria Graf seit 1958. Interview mit Oskar Maria Graf in Die Kultur, Mitarbeit von Oskar Maria Graf in der Kultur; ständiger Briefkontakt mit Oskar Maria Graf bis zu seinem Tod, Treffen mit Oskar Maria Graf bei seinen Europa-Reisen von 1960 bis 1965, danach Zusammenarbeit mit Grafs Witwe, Frau Dr. Gisela Graf; Berater von Frau Dr. Graf bei deren unermüdlichem Einsatz für eine Renaissance des Werkes von Oskar Maria Graf in Deutschland in den siebziger Jahren; Betreuer der 18bändigen Werkausgabe in Einzelbänden nach letzter Hand des Autors im Süddeutschen Verlag von 1975 bis 1989. Mitbegründer und Vorstandsmitglied der Oskar Maria Graf-Gesellschaft seit 1992. Herausgeber des Oskar Maria Graf-Lesebuchs (List, 1993). Richtete zusammen mit der Handschriftenabteilung der Bayerischen Staatsbibliothek eine Oskar Maria Graf-Ausstellung Bücher, Bilder und Dokumente in 32 Städten im deutschsprachigen Raum von August 1977 bis 1988 aus. Im März 2004 erhielt er von der Landeshauptstadt München die Medaille München leuchtet in Silber.
