Cuando David, un joven albaceteño de 23 años, eligió Lituania como destino Erasmus -entre otras cosas porque había más plazas que en otros destinos más populares y porque todavía no tenían el euro y ello le ayudaría a estirar más el dinero de la beca-, no pudo imaginar que acabaría alquilando limusinas, haciendo fiestas en saunas, viajando en globo, convertido en una versión manchega del eterno seductor Casanova y hasta recibiendo unas collejas del mismísimo rey de España. Y es que David tiene muy claro que sólo se vive una vez. Además se encuentra en su último año de carrera, y es consciente de que estos años no volverán, lo cual tiene muy presente en todo momento, llegando a obsesionarse con la idea de hacer de ese año algo legendario y memorable. Pero no todo iban a ser fiestas y condones por el suelo, también tendrá que estudiar -en realidad no tanto-, y casi sin darse cuenta acabará matriculado en la que hasta ahora había sido su verdadera asignatura pendiente: "Máster en el maravilloso mundo de la mujer". Una sabiduría que ahora debe ser compartida. Es la historia de un romántico empedernido en un país donde las mujeres se le antojan ángeles, pero en el que con el tiempo y basándose en sus propias experiencias irá descubriendo que no lo son tanto. Además David no está solo, tiene un compañero de batalla, compartirá sus aventuras y desventuras -y hasta la cama en alguna ocasión- con Óscar, otro joven manchego al que el desamor ha hecho un daño irreparable, daño contra el que intentará vacunar -o contagiar- a David, llegando a hacerle reflexionar sobre el sentido del amor, de estar enamorado, la monogamia... y en definitiva, de sacrificar el bien más preciado que un hombre puede llegar a tener: la eterna soltería.

Ingeniero de profesión y soñador por vocación, soñaba con perderse por las calles de Madrid y vestir de blanco a la diosa Cibeles -para después desnudarla-, celebrar la copa del mundo con Pilar Rubio -y todas las copas que ella quisiera- y tener una velada romántica con Elsa Pataki. Salir de cacería -pero de cacería nocturna- con el rey Juan Carlos I, echarse unas rimas con Kase O y Nach Scrach, y preguntarle sobre el sentido de la vida al mismísimo Dalai Lama. Pero que quede claro, NADA -o casi nada- de esto ocurrió.
