About the Book

There is an amazing move of God sweeping across our land. A hunger for more of the power and presence of the Lord is being awakened in many Christians. This book tells of the unfolding of extraordinary miracles in the life of an ordinary believer and how you, too, can move into the extraordinary Christian life. The supernatural life of the Kingdom of God is within your reach. The author is Howard Roshaven, Pastor of Tree of Life Christian Fellowship in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. He has written from the viewpoint of being a man who spent most of his life as a layman in the pews of the Church. Along the way, he encountered the presence of God in ways that awakened him to the reality that there is more to Christian life than he had previously experienced. This book provides real encouragement for ordinary Christians to embrace the supernatural and rise above the ordinary. It is an awakening to destiny. "Ordinary is Not an Option" also provides Pastors and Christian leaders with a resource to inspire and train their congregations to move from being passive spectators to becoming powerful saints, advancing the Kingdom of God in their communities. The center section of this book is filled with chapters about how to pray for healing and see amazing results, how to receive words of knowledge for healing, and how to minister deliverance in a loving and effective way. All of the testimonies in this book are things the author has personally experienced. He has personally laid hands on people who have had blind eyes opened, deaf ears opened, withered limbs restored, AIDS healed, cancer disappear, and much more. He has written from experience, not theory. He has also trained scores of others who have experienced similar results. Once you have tasted the extraordinary Christian life you also will be able to declare, "Ordinary is no longer an option."
About the Author: Pastor Howard Roshaven spent most of his life as a layman, having been raised in an ordinary Christian family in a small Midwestern town. Through a series of encounters with the living God he was swept into a life of supernatural miracles. Pastor Howard now teaches and imparts the extraordinary Christian life through conferences, revival meetings, small group encounters and personal mentoring. Pastor Howard is also a musician, songwriter, worship leader and music publisher. He has founded Great Awakening Records, LLC, and owns and manages Great Awakening's recording studio. He lives in Florida with his wife, Brenda, their four cats, two horses, and two ball pythons.
