Diskurserne sammenflettet med devaerne indeholder 81 diskurser, hvor en guddom normalt nærmer sig Buddha i Sāvatthī-klosteret og oplyser natten med sin herlighed. Diskurserne, der er sammenflettet med Kosala-diskurserne, præsenterer kong Pasenadi af Kosala som en kompleks menneskeskikkelse, med svagheder og tåbeligheder, men med stor hengivenhed og evne til at vokse. Suttaerne i denne samling sætter typisk versene, hvori de illustrerer de problemer, der plager en Dhamma-bestemt konge, som ikke desto mindre må regere i en verden med spioner, ofre, straffe, krige og de mange fristelser, der følger med det kongelige liv.
I diskurserne, der er sammenflettet med Māra, optræder han i en skræmmende eller forførende form i håb om at forstyrre eller udfordre Buddha med et pisket vers. Buddha, der genkender ham, afslører hans vildfarelse i et vers.
I diskurserne Intertwined with bhikkhunīs (diskurserne sammenflettede med bhikkhunīs) bliver flere pensionerede bhikkhunīs udfordret af Māra, nogle gange på en sexistisk måde, idet de påstår, at kvinder er svage.
Fra resten af legajos fremhæves de sammenflettede diskurser med Yakkhas, som er lokale væsener, der blev tilbedt i det gamle Indien, af en lavere orden end devaerne og Brahmās, og som fremstilles som ambivalente og endda venlige, selv om de kan fremkalde frygt.
